Name: Matthew Ian Rhodes on May 23, 2011Comments: I don't know much about politics, but I know that games are being unfairly rated. Mortal Kombat 9, which was banned was labelled "too violent" as it contains images of characters being cut in half, which is fair enough, but why didn't they ban games with similar violence? Prototype contains images of human characters being sliced in half, and you can see all of the internal organs after the body was cut up. Fallout New Vegas not only lets you dismember enemies, but it lets you choose what part you want to shoot off of the body. Borderlands lets the player blow off enemies' heads, arms, legs or just obliterate the body into bloody chunks. Gears of War lets the player cut up enemies with a chainsaw, and when an enemy is shot in the head, all that's left is a bloody stump and the upper part of the spine can be clearly seen. The government clearly needs to have a long hard think about this and show some fairness. You shouldn't ban one game due to its content if you don't ban a different game with similar content.Flag

Name: Ryan Pinnington on Jun 7, 2011Comments: Catch up with the rest of the world and allow adults to play the games that were intended for them. Banning or modifying games due to a lack of classification is banning our right to play games that were made for us, the people. What happened to personal choice. Let me play MK, goddammit!!Flag
