Comments: Am just curious as to why it is taking so long to make a decision for this debate for games but there is no problem with showing rubbish shows like Jersey Shore and other garbage like that on free-to-air television which just promotes worse behavioural patterns for the younger generation than video games which are make believe.....just does not make sense.

Comments: This has gone on for to long now, and the Government have to wake up and see the fact that we should all have a right to have a say and it should be listend to and acted upon, not just pushed aside. R18 movies but not R18 games????

Comments: I don't know much about politics, but I know that games are being unfairly rated. Mortal Kombat 9, which was banned was labelled "too violent" as it contains images of characters being cut in half, which is fair enough, but why didn't they ban games with similar violence? Prototype contains images of human characters being sliced in half, and you can see all of the internal organs after the body was cut up. Fallout New Vegas not only lets you dismember enemies, but it lets you choose what part you want to shoot off of the body. Borderlands lets the player blow off enemies' heads, arms, legs or just obliterate the body into bloody chunks. Gears of War lets the player cut up enemies with a chainsaw, and when an enemy is shot in the head, all that's left is a bloody stump and the upper part of the spine can be clearly seen. The government clearly needs to have a long hard think about this and show some fairness. You shouldn't ban one game due to its content if you don't ban a different game with similar content.

Comments: Catch up with the rest of the world and allow adults to play the games that were intended for them. Banning or modifying games due to a lack of classification is banning our right to play games that were made for us, the people. What happened to personal choice. Let me play MK, goddammit!!

Comments: Australia is the last 1st world country to allow R ratings and this is unexeptible. Australia needs to grow up and allow the R ratings and not punishing us legal 18+.
