| 1352 | Jon Gayford | Games are not only for children, and by giving adults the choice whether to buy a R18+ game we are giving them the choice whether it's bad or not. How is X 18+ rated movies any better than a borderline MA 15+ / R18+ video game yet still allowed to be classified in Australia? |
| 1353 | Adam | Have you ever noticed that the ages of most gamers are in their twenties and thirties? Adults are gamers too, give us a damn R rating OFLC. |

| 1358 | Anonymous | Banning games is wrong ! |
| 1359 | Daniel Purvis | The lack of an R18+ rating does nothing to "protect the children", instead placing the adults, who should have the right to choose free of Government censorship, into the same category as children. It is demeaning and senseless. |
| 1360 | Blair Adamson | I have been a gamer for over 15 years, and I find it incredibly unfair that the OLFC can prevent me from playing a game by banning its release.
Given the content of certain films, how can you justify treating games differently? When will the Government realise that the gaming medium is no longer centered around children and there is an increasing number of adult gamers in the market that should be able to access these games.
The Government needs to wake up because this issue is exposing how out of touch they are with young adults - this is a gross misuse of authority! |
| 1361 | Gavan Lim-Joon | Alcohol and pornography industries work, why not games? |
| 1362 | Pat Fox | I really don't need my government to take the responsibility to monitor my children's gaming habits upon themselves. I especially don't need the attorney-general of a state other than my own to be an obstruction to a reasonable change to the ratings system. |

| 1368 | Alex Michaelson | The fact that such violent media as films have an r18 rating, and that games are banned for far less violent acts, lower drug references, and other such issues, is a glaring issue in australian audio visual entertainment laws. |

| 1370 | Daniel Luckhurst | Bring our rating system out of the stoneage |
| 1371 | Adam Manns | |
| 1372 | Craig Gibbons | Average gamer age is around 28 I last heard. Would be good to have content at R18+ same as movies and other entertainment, so I - as an adult - can choose to partake in this form of entertainment.
Average age of gamer is getting older each year - Sorely intoduction of an R18+ for video games is inevitable, so why not consider it now. Most other western nations have this rating, why is Australia lagging behind other nations.
Please consider this rating as a choice for Australian Citizens. |
| 1373 | Edmund Chan | Though just barely below the age of 18, I strongly support the idea of an Adults Only rating for video games, much like the way UK, US and Europe have already implemented. Video games deserve to be taken just as seriously as movies and literature. |
| 1374 | Matt Morris | It makes sense. It's time. Give us an R18+ rating. |
| 1375 | Seth Laster | it is ludicrous that we are the only developed country without an R rating for games. |
| 1376 | Dorian S Kratsas | Tired of adults being held to censorship standards for children. |

| 1378 | Daniel Devine | Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Falling coconuts do too. |

| 1389 | Ashley Mackay | I believe there should be an R18+ rating for Australians, since most of us gamers are 18+ and mature.
I've wasted too much a breath stating we need this rating, yet our OFLC does not vote on majority. Maybe it should. For the rating to be denied by one person alone, that's too much power to have.
We demand this rating. We deserve this rating. It will benefit everyone, in the long run. |

| 1396 | Adrian Black | Older game players are being made to suffer because the government is being to precious about a proper ratings system for Videogames. The Gaming industry has become as big, if not bigger than the movie industry and yet we are still without an R Rating for games?!? Ridiculous! |
