60 Dr Abdulkadir M DawodNegative targeting of education at the grassroots is a sign, indicator and a recipie for disastor and a great risk for the future of Scotland's sectors and the lrelevant institutions. Therefore, I would suggest for the Governement to add what they are intending to cut for all the Schools.
61 AnonymousEducation, both primary and secondary, has improved immensely since 1997. Please don't set about reversing these gains. What can be more important than our childrens future?

70 Frederick O AwoteWhen I first heard this through one of the headteachers I was shocked. How on earth do you want this schools to survive and expect them to improve performance? Why do we pay increased Council Tax yearly? This is what you expect from SNP that want a separate Scotland!!

72 Rose Clayton MBEI think it is an absolute disgrace that the local authority can even consider withholding this money. A high quality education is the right of every child in this area and I object to my grandchildren's basic right being violated in this way

76 eileen & glen grassickIf Aberdeen City Council had any sense at all they would drop the proposed Third Don Crossing " A bridge to nowhere", save our beautiful river banks, protect the residents of Tillydrone, save £8million+, and spend the money on providing a top class education for all of our young people.

82 Bruce TaylorMy son attends a primary school in Aberdeen and I see that primary teaching in the classroom is already cut to the bone. The city council needs to be investing more money on education to ensure the future of our children and the Scottish economy.

90 AnonymousAt a time when Aberdeen schools are reportedly requiring substantial repairs and upgrades how can the council justify cutting the schools budgets? This must be prevented.

93 Graham TranI think for any Council to attack an education budget when their mismanagement of the overall budget has resulted in overspend, is an absolute disgrace. Councillors behaving in this fashion are not what you would class as "respectable politicians" they are idiots. In a time when we should be focusing all our efforts on the "education for all agenda", we have this disgraceful position from the Lib Dem/SNP administration, these cuts must be opposed with vigour.

97 Alexander S InnesThe effects of these cuts would hit hard on the pupils - like my daughter - who are now working towards their own success, and to the contribution that they will make to their communities and to the whole of civil society. Should the cuts be implemented, the costs she ands her peers will bear will be high. It is also difficult to imagine that we will recruit and retain a highly motivated and effective teaching staff in the environment that will follow.
