We are currently undertaking MA Social Work at Liverpool John Moores University. Students who undertake this course are entitled to have their fees paid and to a non-means tested bursary. however being from Northern Ireland we have been informed that we are ineligible for this funding. We feel that this is unfair due to the fact that in Northern Ireland we pay taxes to the British Government and in light of the fact that this course is not offered. The only alternative that we have is to undertake a two year BSc in Social Work however we do not feel that it makes sense to pursue another undergraduate degree. We would be extremely grateful if you could sign our petition to help us in our plea. Thanks
