The Fund for Five
William Smith Rowing needs your help. There are a million excuses not to donate. I know- money's tight. But this is a program that taught us some of the most valuable skills- leadership, teamwork, determination, grace under pressure- that we use every day. The team is calling on us for help, and it's time we stepped up and gave back!
The first step? Just SIGN YOUR NAME (---->to the right!) to commit to donating at least $500 over 5 years for WSR. No credit card or checkbook required (yet)- just make the pledge and share this link on a fellow heron's wall to encourage them to pledge, too! H4L.

What is the Fund for Five?
The team is growing and for the past two fall seasons, there were more Heron rowers than available boats. The Fund for Five is our campaign to get a 5th eight in the house! Here's the deal:
- $500 or more gets your name on the boat! Your name, alongside the names of the team of alumnae who contribute to the fund will create a sophisticated and smart graphic that will wrap the bow and stern deck of the 5th eight.
- $2500 or more puts you on the naming committee. The naming committee will determine the name of the boat that will be placed on the bow.
- Your commitment can be over 5 years. But it doesn’t have to be.
- $5000 of our commitment will be matched by Ford Weiskittel, making your dollar count twice.
WILL YOU JOIN the other alumnae who have already contributed to the Fund (Jessica Wojslaw '08, Kirsten Cooper ’10, Libby Hughes ’14, Katrina Paige ’14, Tess Wiggins '12?)
By making a manageable commitment to the Fund for 5 we can all work together to achieve a huge goal. I know each of you knows how to do this; just think about racing at NCAA's or go take a look at your medal collection. Remember what it feels like when everyone gives just a little more effort? The boat surges, and next thing you know, you're walking through Ithaca. Let's do this!
