Fund Carcinoid Cancer Treatments

Carcinoid cancer is a rare form of cancer that is often missed. By the time the cancer is detected it is usually advanced. Even though Carcinoid cancer is rare there are treatments for it. London Regional Hospital is one of many few hospitals in canada that treat Carcinoids, and the most educated in Canada for Carcinoids. By the government taking away funds for these treatments, patients will continue to get ill and will die without the proper care. Please fund treatments that can and will save lives.

I am a 22 year old carcinoid patient. The canadian medical system had failed me. I seeked treatment in Sweden after being told treatment was not available for me here. Us Carcinoid patients need more options here in canada which means more funding for our treatments. With proper treatments life expectancy can be greatly increased.
