I was just grabbing coffee with someone from the other cohort and they mentioned that the clinical staff might actually be open to a meeting if we can show them how widespread this frustration really is because honestly it makes no sense to ignore the practical side of our training while we just drill theory for exams.

I honestly cannot believe how many people have joined in on this because I really thought I was just going to be shouting into the void about these placements. It actually feels like the department might have to stop and listen to us now since so many of us clearly agree that being a good physio matters more than just passing another exam.

completely agree. being a physio is about hands on skills not just how well we write a paper. it makes no sense to ignore the work we do in clinics.
Ridiculous. We spend all these hours on placement just for it to barely count toward our final grade. Change this now.

so true! i went into this to work with patients not to sit in a library all day. clinical skills should be the priority.
