When most people think of a felon,they think of someone who walks around with a gun in their pocket waiting for a chance to rob or rip somebody off. Not so,believe me there are mugs out there that will get you they get any kind of a chance.But that's the 10 maybe 20 percent of felons who are truly the essence of the word. But the majority of people in this country got their felonies by 1.Doing some stupid without thinking of the consequences,2.doing something on a dare while high or intoxicated. 3,Too poor to afford an attorney when faced with a crime that should be a misdemeanor,4.Afraid of the police and flee for no reason(fleeing the police is a felony now).5Caught up in the child support trap set up by the state.(How does that work you ask?) You father a child,you and your significate other break up.She takes you to court and after establishing perternity you are slapped with a hospital bill if she was on any kind of aid,administration fees,dna tests,court costs and a slew of other charges they come up with. You lose your job temporarily and get behind and you get locked up for non payment. Now you are on their merry go round.Car breaks down can't pay this week need car to get to work.Get traffic ticket oops! another payment missed.And on and on and before you know whats happening to your life which you have none now because they make you look like a dead beat who can't keep a job and won't take care of his kids. That system doesn't give a tinkers damn about the children,it's about the fees,case in point;The IRS sent me a letter saying the $2900.00 I had coming went to my child support,yet my children didn't recieve one dime of it. They hound you like youre a criminal,make you lose job after job with their tactics,have you thrown in jail sometimes on what they call will call,incarcerating some people as long as 90 days,meanwhile your getting farther and farther behind on your support.It's a cruel and vicious way to treat an animal let alone a human being.
Now we are stuck in an economy that the Republicans created for us where it's almost impossible to get any kind of a job,even if you are a first class citizen. So now what happens to the felons,no what happens to their children? How can anyone with a heart do this to their fellow man and sleep at night? And what's really sad the so called christians of this society say their felons they deserve what thay get.Not all felons are criminals people.A person with a dog they love more than anything gets sick,they are too poor to afford a vet,the dog dies and they get hauled into court by some overzealous animal control officer and this person ends up with a felony for animal cruelty.Now this poor soul life takes a tail spin,most housing provoders don't allow felons,social help programs don't allow felons to get assistance to a certain degree.Now the doors that were open in your life before this are now closed. This is American Justice folks,everything the heartless bastards could make of it,and they wonder why we have so much crime in our society! They are creating the reason it continues,take away the legal ways for a man to survive,what else can he do? And that's what a felony does to a person's life.
