| 601 | Nancy Aykanian | I hope you will be able to find the money to continue funding Free Speech Radio News. I count on local broadcasts of the program (on 88.1 FM) for my evening news. The sad alternative is NPR, which as we know is not (an) alternative at all... |
| 602 | madeline schleimer | there is no news like FSRN. i can't afford to give them any financial support. i give a fairly large contribution to my local station (large for my income). i am reminding you that our station is like no other. fsrn is one reason that pacifica is so important. who else is going to give these news articles on air? keep this part of the precious radio alive. |
| 603 | Brian Hill | do you want to force the people to violence in the streets? its the news - FRN - that exposes corruption and prevents violence. |
| 604 | Elizabeth Miller | |
| 605 | James Pinkston | this form of news is not only refreshing but critical to Americans getting news that other venues might shy away from. Please do whatever you can to allow this form of media to grow into a house hold must have. |
| 606 | David DeRouen | We need more free speech in the world now not less! |
| 607 | Christine Bush | I am disappointed to learn that Pacifica holds FSRN in such regard as to warrant a massive budget slash. What's going on? |

| 615 | William Bray | FSRN is the only regular Pacifica network program which undertakes rigorous, factual reporting from around the world for more than a couple of minutes. There simply is no equivalent Pacifica or other radio program available.
FSRN is the bedrock of pacifica news programming, and it's reports are regularly used for evening and morning local news shows. Indeed, as far as I am concerned, a very large portion of Pacifica programming is simply filler between DN! and FSRN.
Consequently, were FSRN forced to stop operating or dramatically curtail the scope of it's operations due to budgetary constraints, I would be Much less likely to support Pacifica stations financially with any regularity.
Indeed, were it not for FSRN I would likely have no idea that Pacifica was even facing such a significant financial shortfall at all!
Indeed, who would tell me?
The program featuring the pseudo-medical paranoia of individuals who have an abject fear of the health effects of 100mW wireless data transfer devices, yet still use cellular phones directly adjacent to their brain which produce an order of magnitude more power output at the same frequencies?
Perhaps the individual who insists that Chinese Foxglove will "cool the blood" when the temperature of ones blood will not, in fact change, after ingestion?
I think not.
Pacifica, like any media outlet, is full of content of questionable, borderline, and even negative utility.
Pacifica IS unique in terms of it's scope and the freedom afforded to it's personnel.
It is also unique in that it broadcasts FSRN, and FSRN is the lifeblood of Pacifica as far as I am concerned.
FSRN must survive intact, if Pacifica is to survive.
FSRN is the distillation of what Makes Pacifica unique and Worthwhile.
If FSRN ceases to exist, Pacifica ceases to exist for me, and will become nothing more than a delivery mechanism for DN! (which is rebroadcast on many PBS stations...) along with the occasional Guns&Butter, Against the Grain, Explorations and Flashpoints (when Dennis can reign himself in).
All donations I would make to Pacifica will now go directly to FSRN, as DN! is popular enough and independent enough from the vagaries of Pacifica "management" to weather most any storm these
days.
Do not make this mistake, Pacifica. |

| 617 | Jorge Torre | please keep funding for FSRN.; I listen and get much of my news from this program daily,. |

| 619 | linda roman | fsrn news is by far the best news team on the air. it is also an essential part of the kpfa evening news. i have been grateful to it for having reporters in vital places all over the world. i think it's by far the best news organization on pacifica. |
| 620 | Lynn Shoemaker | In these dark times, I see Pacifica and FSRN as
crucial. Please put your minds and imaginations
together to find a way to support both. Thank you. |
| 621 | Alexis Rodich | |
| 622 | Marion Banzhaf | FRSN is a great addition to the Pacifica network. WBAI does not have the capacity now to report on national and international news the way FSRN is. I am contributing to FSRN, as well as to Pacifica, but I hope you are able to figure out a way to keep FSRN affiliated with Pacifica. Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of independent news. |
| 623 | Marissa Bazan | FRSN is a crucial media resource in a time when corporate media is killing real journalism |
| 624 | Raymond Tarpley | Please realize the significance of Free Speech Radio to us all during a time when honest societal discourse is threatened both within the U.S. and abroad by unregulated free market schemes. |
| 625 | Marianne McNallen | |
| 626 | Stephen Powell | I listen to FSRN every day. Please help them continue. |
| 627 | Dale Peterson | I depend on FSRN every day when I listen to KPFA. We need FSRN's strong, smart, independent voice now more than ever. Please restore the funding to this valuable resource! |
| 628 | sinsung Pahk | Help! |
| 629 | tim kulina | An important part of my day. |
| 630 | Rosalie Riegle | I know you're strapped but please reconsider. We all need Free Speech Radio News! |

| 641 | Chris Conner | Keep it on the podcast!!! |
| 642 | Jerry Markatos | When the heart and soul of Pacifica was at stake, FSRN founders went on strike against the censorship and the illegitimate management threatening the network. Their initiative, along with that of Amy Goodman and others who refused to corrupt their programs, was a heroic act that saved this crucially important network. We must find a way to continue FSRN funding! |
| 643 | Dana Walker | This is one of the only outlets for the REAL news, and we need MORE of this kind of reporting, not less. |
| 644 | Masror Hausen | I'm proud to be part of FSRN in Pakistan. FSRN plays an important role in helping poor and marginalized communities in this countries where no policy is made without the approval of the US government and without the funding of the World Bank and IMF. FSRN represents the voice of the poor around the world.
It has a lot of respect in my country. |

| 647 | Tom O'Keefe | |
| 648 | Sherry Franzen | We rely on FSRN to stay informed! |
| 649 | alexis soule | FSRN is vital, please reconsider |
| 650 | Sarina Seaton | FSRN stands alone among the major news outlets. Through this service we hear national, global and local news that we cannot hear elsewhere. Without this programming, I believe KPFA will have a difficulty sustaining itself as so many people tune in for this and then stay for other programming. |
