| 553 | Derek Belmont | Please don't cut FSRN's funding!
I listen all the time at 5:00pm on Santa Cruz Free Radio 101.1! |
| 554 | Rose Elizondo | FSRN is vital to keeping us informed especially about world news! It would truly be tragic to follow
inthe steps of the mass media and cut back on news when we most need it! If you must cut back, cut back on the programming from 2 am - 5 am when there are few listeners. Don't take away from
FSRN. |

| 558 | Anonymous | Please continue to fund FSRN!! |
| 559 | Ken Roberts | For FSRN to go off the air would be like The New York Times going out of print . . . except much, much worse. |
| 560 | Anonymous | Better to make an across the board budget cut throughout Pacifica..Including National Office and all other areas.. Don't just eliminate FSRN or any other category. |
| 561 | Muhammad Akhtar | This is free speech media and shutting it down is like wiping the freedom of speech off the constitution. |
| 562 | Tom Walls | |
| 563 | Scott MacInnis | I LOVE FSRN! I hope you can keep it going. I don't understand you Democracy Now! can be so huge and still not enough money.... |

| 565 | Vince Patrick | I have followed and admired FSRN since its beginnings.
Equal to its unique and essential role in the overall mix of Pacifica programs is its demonstration of a working, first-class, sustainable model for journalism that every day challenges and shames the hegemony of corporate media. Every day that FSRN survives is another day of inspiration in a time where such is so hard to find. |

| 571 | Robert Lopez | Pacifica is a vital source of truth in Broadcasting and our fragile democracy |
| 572 | Bruce Mahon | The people involved with FSRN do a great service to the station and all those tune in to hear the segment really appreciate their talent and perspective that add to the great body of programming at Pacifica. They are a part of the family, Please don't orphan them.
Please find a way to work this matter out.
Respectfully, Bruce A. Mahon, LA,CA.USA |
| 573 | Adrienne Lauby | There is no other news organization who reports alternative news by people who live in so many places. The reporter network of FSRN is invaluable. It would take immense work to rebuild something like this, if FSRN is allowed to disintegrate. People who live in the U.S. cannot know what is true about other parts of the world -- not routinely and in a way that gives enough background for reporting. U.S. reporting cannot be done well from one urban center. FSRN sets the standard, It is a jewel in Pacifica's crown. |

| 577 | Ted Bagg | FSRN is an important part of my strategy for getting a balanced view of world events. It is truly unique, one of Pacifica's jewels. I would miss it greatly if it ended. |
| 578 | Devin Mullins | |
| 579 | Matthew Daly | |
| 580 | Eric Romsted | |
| 581 | Seren Bradshaw | FSRN is imperative to provide a balancing perspective to the corporate media. Do not strip Pacifica of one of its most important and effective programs. |
| 582 | Rosemary Strobel | FSRN is very important to this KFAI listener. You offer a perspective and,in fact, voices that would be shut out except that YOU broadcast them. Do you think other media would 1. Air the words of Mr. Jamal? 2. Question the voter intimidation by Wal-mart. 3. Hilight and showcase REAL issues instead of the political games?
We the VOTING public NEED to know what' is real.
Thank you for this, journalism, that favors no one. |
| 583 | Joel Levenson | Free Speech Radio News is vital and should be at the top of your agenda. It is a serious mistake and a black eye for Pacifica to cut their funding. |
| 584 | Greg Tibbits | I've canceled my subscription to the local conservative crap newspaper, tree-saving, and noticed just now that the Google news page had no story that wasn't just as well covered by my listening to KPFK's hour long noon news coverage. Some NPR news too and I'm a well-informed citizen it seems. This enables me to avoid the vomit inducing experience of watching any corporate TV! So I sure hope my oft contributed to Pacifica radio stationscan somehow do something to keep these good persons about the good works of saving the nation from further descent into fascism. Regards, Greg "gregbirddizelec" Tibbits |
| 585 | Eric Pressman | FSRN is an amazing service to the world. |

| 595 | Claudia Nelson | FSRN is both an excellent show and most sadly for the US, one of a kind! |
| 596 | Fred Blair | |
| 597 | Mike Walkingstick | At a time when the diversity of voices available to the public is at an all time low, the loss of FSRN would be a terrible blow to the future of our country. Please reconsider your priorities on this decision and invest in the future of human communication. |
