| 502 | Steven Ferber, Ph.D. (chemistry) | Please maintain this excellent source of information NOT obtainable on almost any radio frequency (even in the Nation's Capitol). As a close observer of the nation's right-wing slide over the last several decades, I believe such is crucial to survival of any semblence of Jeffersonian democracy. |
| 503 | Fred Flanagan | Free Speech radio news is important help citizens voice their opinions. |
| 504 | George Avellar | Please restore funding for this excellent news program. Thank you. |
| 505 | Anonymous | We need this station! |
| 506 | Anonymous | FSRN is my source for news that is free of the control of big media, free of big corporations, and free to report on what is important |
| 507 | Mandi Jones | This is definitely one of the most important broadcasts available in this country, please do not crush it! |

| 512 | Harbeer Sandhu | FSRN is consistently the #1 best Pacifica show. They have reporters spread out all across the world so listeners can hear news right from people on the ground, rather than pundits and spinmeisters in air-conditioned studios. Like much foreign press, they give listeners the straight facts without insulting our intelligence with commentary and fluffy filler, so we can make up our own minds and draw our own conclusions. I assume that most Pacifica members prefer shows like Flashpoints (barf!) and Democracy Now! (usually good but not indespensible), but I look forward to the daily dispassionate world news digest I get from FSRN.
I am a member of KPFT in Houston. |

| 520 | R. Duncan Bond | FSRN IS ESSENTIAL BROADCASTING. PLEASE DO ALL YOU CAN TO KEEP IT ON THE AIR.
Thank you |
| 521 | Audrey McGhee | FSRN is independent grassroots media at its best. They offer a point of view not heard in any other news show, print or radio. Because of the way they are organized, they offer stories that would never be heard anywhere else. Don't stop this important work!!! |
| 522 | Judy Branfman | |
| 523 | Daniel Denvir | |
| 524 | Shawn R. Britton | I am a long time listener and appreciate the FSRN perspective. This organization is critical to maintain the credibility of the Pacifica Network as much as the Pacifica Radio Archives is. What would Lewis Hill have done?
Be sensible and prioritize your funding for maintaining Free Speech Radio News.
Thank You,
SRB |
| 525 | Robert L Davis | Programs like Free Speech Radio News are why I contribute to WPFW! |
| 526 | Jeff Babitz | We can't have 'too much' truth |
| 527 | Joan Peters | |
| 528 | Robert M. Goetz | For someone like myself who drives a cab for a living, Free Speech Radio News is an invaluable news resource that I rely on daily. Please save it and please DO NOT DEFUND IT. Thank You. |
| 529 | Rita Doyle | FSRN is the best independent news voice we have. It's why I listen to Pacifica. Please don't cut them -- we need them now more than ever! |

| 537 | froylan majeno | Bar none, The best news cast available to my listening area(Fresno and outlying cities). I and many others have NO objective news source other than republican pundants and corprate media. Please Keep the evening news and I will keep supporting KPFA as much as I can. |

| 540 | Anonymous | I consider FSRN one of the rare "real" news sources that is available. Most of the news reports I have heard there, I know would not be broadcast either on cable or network news. I am on disability, live in the SF Bay Area on $860 a month. So I can only afford to donate five dollars. It is very important to have FSRN for people like myself, as well as the average person. I totally trust their reporting. |
| 541 | Steven Hewlett | Democracy Now and Free Speech Radio News are about my only contacts with Pacifica. I do donate to KPFA where I listen to Democracy Now and occasional other programming on the internet. My primary source for FSRN is WCBN-FM in Ann Arbor, MI. |
| 542 | Arnold Martelli | FSRN is an invaluable resource. Provides a worthy review of world and national events on daily basis. The outreach and impact internationally is remarkable for such a diminutive organization, i.e. worth every penny. |

| 544 | John Robinson | Please do not cut funding for this media outlet. No one else is reporting these stories. This is critical thinking and we as a nation need it. |
| 545 | regina keenan | |
| 546 | Paul Riismandel | I am surprised at Pacifica's cutting of FSRN's budget by $13k a month. FSRN is the very best radio news program on the air in the US, hands down. It represents the very spirit of community radio built on a model of access and free speech. It seems a myopic decision to cut the FSRN budget, even while affiliate stations continue to pay their fees to the network. FSRN is one of the things that keeps Pacifica relevant and necessary in these times. It must be strengthened, not cut. |

| 548 | m w stockwell | In these days when corporate "news" dominates the airwaves, we cannot afford to lose any source of reliable information. Please reconsider the cut in funding to FSRN. Thank you. |
| 549 | Robert Brown | This is real solid news don't destory it it is the only thing that is real to listen and none of the highly processed corporate news. |
| 550 | David Beaton | As Program Director for WSLR LPFM, FSRN provides an invaluable service of indie news from around the world. |
