Name: Ken Buttery on Apr 6, 2006Comments: Who's seen engines blow at sound test who's seen parts let go and come apart after 3 weeks of testing Competition, if you finish 'early', is time when your car starts falling apart.. We need this to be open during the night to ensure the cars are able to race, and are safe to race in the morning. It also takes away from this year's experience for those that have yet to go to a competition with a car they've built.Flag

Name: Brett Lyons on Apr 7, 2006Comments: or if overnight access to the competition area isnt allowed, maybe a warehouse/padoc type facility would be a good alternative, maybe teams travel acrosss the globe to compete and they deservie every hour they can get to do wellFlag

Name: Joe Siclari on Jun 24, 2006Comments: Competitions are so infrequent and often so far away from any given school that when teams compete, if something needs to be repaired, they should have every chance to do so. Putting a time limit on access to the car ties that hands of many teams that are fully capable of competing, but simply run out of time. This is not in the spirit of good competition. It's not like NASCAR where if you have a bad showing one week you can have another chance next week. Limiting time and access to the vehicle is no way to promote good competitionFlag
