Name: Martin Campbell on Aug 31, 2008Comments: Fr Troy has been a tower of strength, not just for the community in itself, but for many people/families including myself... I faced some hard times emotionally in the past years and Fr. Troy has been there for me at all times of the day and night. I would consider him a great loss.Flag

Name: Tracy Campbell on Aug 31, 2008Comments: Fr Aidian has supported hundreds of parents and children during the holy cross dispute. He has risked his life in doing so, incurring numerous threats and taunts from people. Look at this parish ten years ago and compare it today, and you only have to see the changes that have been made due to his help and input. He's the most unselfish and dignified person I have had the pleasure to meet. Our community would be at a great loss without him and his influenceFlag

Since taking up his post he has worked tirelessly, for the people both within and outside of his parish, and is an invaluable asset that the community cannot afford to lose.Flag

Name: Elaine Mailey on Sep 1, 2008Comments: It will be such a loss to see Father Troy leave the Parish. He has brought so much to the communty, young and old. His never ending work will not go unnoticed. There will be a massive gap to fill if Father Troy was to leave and a great happiness in the community if he was to stay in our parish.Flag

Name: Jenny O'Kane on Sep 1, 2008Comments: Please don't take Fr. Aiden Troy away from a community where his qualities as a priest have brought people back to their faith. I am 40 years old, and my faith was in tatters until Fr. Aiden Troy came into my family life. He has to be the most dedicated priest (not that other priest's are not!) I have ever witnessed. Keep up the faith.Flag
