Comments: I agree stricter regulations of licensing restaurants would be the logical answer instead of one rule which takes away peoples choice typical EU answer to a problem

Comments: This is a ridiculous ruling - any fresh fish served raw has little danger to people. The Japanese have been eating it for thousands of years.

Comments: Freezing fresh fish will destroy the texture of quality fresh fish. I urge the EU to introduce a licencing scheme for properly trained sushi chefs to allow them to use fresh fish without freezing for public consumption. Thanks

Comments: YET ANOTHER MISDIRECTED EU REGULATION. LET US MAKE OUR OWN DECISIONS REGARDING WHAT WE EAT, UNLIKE THE SMOKING BAN, EATING SUSHI OR SASHIMI DOES NOT PUT THIRD PARTIES AT RISK.

Comments: What a ridiculous ruling. If & When people would like to eat raw fish or anything else for that matter, it is thier own choice & not something that should be decided by some unknown person who happens to be sitting in an office with a shirt & tie. Freedom of speach goes hand in hand with freedom to eat what you like. Get a grip of yourselves and try some Sushi.
