   Comments: Please do not allow beer stores within 1000 feet of McWhorter Elementary School! It is a huge liability and I hope you stop this before someone gets seriously hurt or killed. Do we have to wait for a tragedy in order to make some change Please help us!

   Comments: My kids which are grown went to mcwhorter school and also my grandkids. The school was not redone at all in that period of time. Now the thought of a beer store that close to church and school is not right .There should be a law against that our neighborhood is older and they are trying to better it and bringing beer and wine into the neighborhood is not the answer. Keep our children safe and clear the way for more parks and recreation.

We have enough beer stores surrounding our neighborhood already! Wish the powers-that-be could be a little more creative than to approve yet another beer/wine store!

    Comments: I have to say I agree to no beer store near an Elementary School. If they want their beer go somwhere else. My children grew up here and even attended that school. Some people leave those stores drinking and driving, they don't even get caught till someone is either badly hurt or dead. Also, I know for a fact there are countries who hang people for drinking and driving all we want is to keep them away from our children, whom are the innocent ones. God blessed us with our children, now as parents, it is our duty to take care of them the best way we know how.

    Comments: This is wrong there should never be a beer and wine store next to a elementry school or any school, for that matter. Plus there is a limit for how far away the beer and wone store have to be. Why would anyone put a beere and wine store by any school no one in Mesquite wants this done, and I believe it's wrong.
