| 106 | Bo Soon Yang | 01 | LSL is very important for ESL students because there are tons of useful programs to improve English skills. Without those programs, international students would suffer more to get used to study at De Anza |

I also use computer lab to practice my grammar, pronunciation. If I just attend ESL class, it is not enough to learn English. At LSL, I have more opportunities to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing. In CCP and Language Exchange, I can make new friends. My partners teach me English and I teach them Mandarin. We have a lot of fun to learn. I love LSL so much. |

The Listening and Speaking Center provides that opportunity. Not a day goes by that I don`t hear laughter and see eyes sparkle as ESL students learn and practice their English at the LSC; it is definitely an invaluable De Anza College facility. |
| 117 | Bob Dickerson | 02 | We need this program and more programs like it. |

| 120 | Jeannie Kastelic | 02 | Students using the Skills Center are routinely taking advantage of LSC activities and workshops, and if they are not, we recommend that they do. LSC fills a significant need. It is the only place on campus dedicated to helping students improve their listening and speaking skills. We need it! Keep it! |

The current economic crisis is not our faults. Does it make sense when our tuition fees are going to increase and the meaningful support to us like LSC is dangerous of being cut? |

| 136 | Gloria Heistein | 02 | LSL programs have been tremendously popular among my ESL students. The Lab deserves institutional support! It has also been the "homebase" to CCP, for which, as a co-coordinator, I have been very appreciative of having the Lab for Cross Cultural Partners. I urge everyone to speak up for LSL. |
| 137 | Danh Truong | 01 | I personally benefited so much from LSL during my two years at De Anza and even after I transferred to SJSU. With their resources and friendly, knowledgeable staff, LSL helps me become more confident andmore successful academically and socially. Please do not cut/remove a proven helpful resource. |
