Comments: I was shocked to read of the flag incident. As a former member of council I know how hard community members work to develop and maintain good relations with the Tsuu T'ina. I hope this random act of violence will not have a negative impact on that relationship as I know the residents of Redwood would never condone such a cowardly act.

Comments: This destructive act was clearly intended to sabotage the relationship between the leadership in Redwood Meadows and the elected Chief and Council, and Elders of the Tsuu T'ina Nation. The destruction of the Tsuu T'ina flag, in addition to being a show of disrepect, was a demonstration of cowardice. May our communities continue to work together in a spirit of reconciliation and mutual respect.

Comments: This willful destruction is is surreal. What are things coming to. Whom ever is responsible should really give their head a shake, hang up a for sale sign and move to a place with more like minded people.

Comments: I am extremely grateful to live in Redwood Meadows, on the land of the Tsuu T'ina Nation. This was a very offensive action that is completely opposed to the feelings of the residents of Redwood Meadows towards our First Nations neighbours.

Comments: I was honoured to be at the dedication /raising of the Tsuu T'ina Flag as they have a wonderful culture that we respect and enjoy learning about. We are proud and happy to have resided in beautiful Redwood Meadows for 20 years. I was worrified to learn of such a disrespectful and cowardly act of destroying the flag of the Tsuu T'ina Nation. We stand behind prosecuting the offenders of this vicious act to the full extent of the law.

Comments: I am a First Nations member. My husband and I raise our three children in this community. It is a beautiful community and we know, after 12 years of residency here, that these are good people here. Sadly, there is an individual, or individuals, who for very selfish reasons, is trying to destroy our relationship with our neighbor whose land we live on.
