After serious consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the current division of working days and rest days per week are inconsistently divided. 5 days of work and 2 days rest may also have negative affects on one's health, and it would be more beneficial if the week consisted of 4 days work and 3 days rest, hence making Friday part of the weekend. As the notable Homer Simpson used to say, "Woo-Hoo 3 day weekend".
