We, the Wagner students, need two issues to be addressed at Wagner College immediately. The first issue is smoking. The second issue is the sewage smell that can be smelled while walking up the hill from Harborview Hall.
The first issue is causing health problems for the Wagner students. Not only does smoking affect the lives of the smokers, but it is also affecting the lives of the non-smokers on the Wagner campus. Secondhand smoke can lead to health problems such as lung cancer and even death (Loukas, Garcia, Gottlieb, 2006). The Wagner students do not want to be in an unsafe environment while receiving an education.
The second issue does not provide our student satisfaction at Wagner College. We are disgusted with this naseauting smell and want it to be eliminated.
We want you, President Guarasci, to help us fix these two problems that we care deeply about. We want to enjoy Wagner College the most we can during our four years here. However, that would be impossible without your help to make our experiences here great by enabling us to breathe in fresh air only. We want you to make our Fresh Air Campaign possible. Therefore, the Wagner students are asking you to help us make a change.
