Dear HP,

It is at this point obvious that you have no idea what you are doing with the mobile operating system webOS that you purchased along with Palm. It would be a shame to see this innovative operating system sit unused or even worse, dismantled and sold off for patents. It is with this in mind that we urge you to open source webOS and let the community and the world freely enjoy and maintain this amazing operating system and keep it going for years to come.
