Name: Anonymous on Mar 29, 2007Comments: As a former wrestler for Delstate, I know first hand the Bull crap that programs goes through. It is so hard to be successful in that program, when coaches are just being fired at will. Earl was the best thing to happen to that program and let him go was tragic. Just cut the program and send these wrestlers to programs where they grow and become the excellent wrestlers they are.Flag

Name: David T. Cross on Mar 29, 2007Comments: It is unbelievable how these wrestling recruits are being used in some political process. Especially in the sport of wrestling when it takes much more effort to reach the level of Division I then any other sport. Let these kids go so they can get on to a college that appreciates them as human beings and will someday be leaders in the community.Flag

Name: Stephen C. Lex on Mar 29, 2007Comments: Allow the wrestlers who wanted to come to Del State because of coach Walker to seek wrestling elsewhere if they so desire. These wrestlers should not suffer because of the lack of commitment by the University toward their wrestling program and coach.Flag

Name: Jason Weslager on Mar 29, 2007Comments: As a one time college recruit, Delaware State should let the kids explore their options. If this happened to me, and my future was based around getting a scholarship to a college for wrestling (which is was) I would be outraged. Either bring Coach Walker back, or at the very least, give the recruited wrestlers the option to choose another school.Flag
