DON'T DEPORT SHYNE

Just as the hip hop community was about to celebrate the release of Jamal "Shyne" Barrow from prison, we just got word that there is a good chance that he might be deported back to his native country of Belize. The man served his time, paid his debt to society, and now we want him to be able to move on with his life and possibly continue his promising career as an MC. Please sign the petition and we can send to Gov. David Paterson of New York to reverse this decision. You have to move quick, because his deportation is scheduled for this FRIDAY October 9. Let's make it happen people!

3 years ago Comments: Shyne has served his time in a federal correction facility and while he has served it seems he has learned his lesson and he wants a second chance to redeem himself...I thinki we should at least give him a chance to redeem himself as a musician...he served his 9year sentence...so that was good enough justice...deporting this man is insult to injury,he is still a U.S citizen,he is here legally so why deport him? That is not fair.If Casey Anthony can get a second chance at life...then this man should be able to prove he's changed as well....we should live up to the statement "With liberty and justice for all." He served his sentence let the man live...if you want to place him on house arrest do so...but DO NOT DEPORT HIM. We have to be fair unless he poses another threat to society.
