"Declaration of Freedom for All North Koreans"

북한의 모든 주민들을 위한 선언서

"On this 62nd anniversary (December 9, 2010) of Raphael Lemkin's landmark 'Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,' one of the most important global actions in the aftermath of the Holocaust to stop mass atrocity and genocide, we the people of South Korea, America, Japan, England and from all parts of the world call the International Community to immediate intervention in North Korea on the basis of rescuing the lives of the millions of innocents perishing as a result of torture, slave-labour, induced-starvation, public execution and other cruel forms of barbaric persecution at the hands of the criminal and genocidal Kim Jong-il regime."

올해로 제노사이드협약 62 주년을 맞이하여 라파엘 렘킨의 "제노사이드 범죄의 방지와 처벌에 관한 협약"은 유대인 대학살 이후 가장 중요한 글로벌 운동 중 하나입니다

대한민국 그리고 미국, 일본, 영국 등 세계 각국의 국민들께 우리는 김정일과 김정일 집단으로 부터 고문, 노예, 노동, 기아, 공개처형 등 여러 잔인한 방식으로 고통당하고 있는 북녘 동포들을 구하고자 급히 국제사회의 개입을 요청 합니다.

"We declare that according to International Law and International Standards, there is no legitimate government in North Korea, that Kim Jong-il and his regime are unequivocally International Criminals who must be held accountable, in the name of humanity, truth, and justice, for the millions of lives they have murdered, for the enslaving and traumatizing of an entire generation of Korean people, and for the millions of families they have bereaved and torn apart."

현재 국제법과 국제기준에 의하면 현재 북한에는 정당한 정부가 없다는 것이 확실하고, 김정일과 김정일 체제는 명백히 국제 범죄자들임으로 한 세대의 대한민국 사람들에게 아픔을 주며, 수백만의 가족들을 분단의 설움을 안기고,  수백만 명을 살해하고 노예로 만든 것에 대해 인류와 정의와 진리의 이름으로 책임을 물어야 합니다.

"According to Article 2 of the Genocide Convention, it is unequivocally clear that the extermination of Christians and their families to three generations constitutes Genocide and consequently the International Community has not only the duty but the legal right to intervene in North Korea today."

제노사이드 협약 2 조항에 의하면 기독교인들과 가족 삼 세대를 학살하는 것은 집단 학살로 여겨짐으로 국제사회는 북한에 개입할 의무 뿐 만 아니라 법적인 권리가 분명하게 있습니다.

"We invoke the Genocide Convention in behalf of the millions who are being murdered, raped, enslaved and tortured at this very moment by Kim Jong-il and his criminal regime. We call all People of Conscience and Global Leaders to now manifest their compassion for the most persecuted and oppressed people in the world, realizing that any regime which systematically enslaves, tortures, and kills millions of innocents stands in absolute opposition to the very Principle of Humanity, can never be trusted and that the only way to effectively deal with such a regime is to hold it accountable for these actions and bring it to justice."

우리는 현재 김정일 체제로 부터 살해되고 강간당하고 노예로 만들어지며 고통 받고 있는 수백만을 대신해 제노사이드 협약을 근거로 제시 합니다.

양심 있는 자들과 글로벌 지도자들께서는 세계에서 가장 핍박받고 억압받는 수백만의 북녘 동포들을 위해 즉각 행동에 나서 주실 것을 요청 드리며, 한 체제가 조직적으로 죄 없는 수백만 명에게 고통을 주는 것은 인류의 원칙에 어긋나는 명백한 범죄 행위이기에  이에 대한 가장 효과적인 방법은 그 범죄 집단에 대하여 책임을 묻고 정의롭게 행동하는 방법 밖에는 없습니다.

"We proclaim freedom and the justice of God for the sake of the hundreds of thousands of innocent North Korean men, women and children enslaved, raped, starved and tortured in harrowing and horrific concentration camps today! We proclaim freedom and the justice of God for the sake of the millions of North Korean civilians starving to death as a result of Kim Jong-il's policy of genocide and mass murder! We proclaim freedom and the justice of God for all North Koreans, whose only dream and desire is to live in freedom and dignity, and as a human being!"

우리는 정치범 수용소에서 고통받고 있는 수백만명의 북녘 동포들과 아이들에게 자유와 하나님의 정의를 선언합니다.

우리는 김정일 제노사이드와 대학살에 의해 기아로 죽어가는 수백만의 북녘 동포들에게 자유와 하나님의 정의를 선언합니다.

우리는 한 인간으로서 존엄성과 자유로 살 수 있는 것만을 희망하고 바라는 모든 북녘 동포들에게 자유와 하나님의 정의를 선언합니다.

We cannot tolerate the genocide in North Korea any longer. Since 1995, over 3 million North Koreans have died due to starvation alone. More than 225,000 North Koreans are regularly enslaved, raped, tortured, starved, and executed within the walls of political concentration camps kept just like those of Nazi Germany. Despite our Human Rights Declaration of the United Nations and our International Laws created to prevent any repetition of the history we all remember well... The Nazi Holocaust... North Korea's leader, Kim Jong II has yet to close the worst concentration camps in history and FREE ALL PRISIONERS. The world has kept silent while this notoriously evil regime performs perpetual acts of genocide on their own citizens, however, the time to END THE SILENCE is here with this petition.
