I don't believe in what Mark did but I understand the fear he had at the moment when he felt he was about to become the next victim to child molestation. Why not just give him probation He saved the himself and the next child for being molested. Don't punish an innoncent child for protecting his own life.

How can a jury make a legitimate decision on the life of a 16 year old boy without knowing all the circumstances surrounding the crime Is this what our judicial system has come to I have seen rape victims treated with less consideration, yet a known pedophile, murdered by one of his victims is protected by law Maybe now justice will be served.
