| 1504 | Nicholas But | Free the KI-6! Having freedom of speech in our country also applies when we disagree with the powers that be. |
| 1505 | David Cannon | This is disgusting. The Mining Act should be trumped by binding treaties, and the KI community should have the right to defend the well-being of their grandchildren. If only the province of Ontario understood sustainability, it might be a place for me to settle down with my children someday, but as it stands, this is just one more factor among many for why I will likely move back to my home province when I finish my education |
| 1506 | Carrie Lester | I am aghast that our Canadian Government has yet to honour these Treaties that were signed so many years ago. We are all Treaty Partners, and I am infuriated that it has taken so long for all of these treaties to be settled. Wake up Canada ... it's way past time to practice what you preach!! |
| 1507 | Jennifer Dreaver | |
| 1508 | Miranda Abbott | It is terrible that time and time again our government continues to ignore issues from its citizens, minority groups should be protected and their needs met. Only then does a democracy work; where each group has an equal say and we, as respectful and caring human beings, listen to the specific opinions of all. Equality is understanding that everyone requires different things not the same. This is a great misunderstanding of our time. That we think we can forget the past and change the future because we are all suppose to lie down and pretend that we are not all beautifully different. However, this is and issue about mining and changing old legislature will effect us all in different ways, your children and mine for years to come. Choose you legacy, what story are telling and what history will you help create? |
| 1509 | Heather Ann Leslie | I should be more shocked to hear about injustices like this. Thanks for taking notice, and action. |

| 1511 | Ainsley Kendrick | Dear Canadian Government,
Do something for the Canadian people for once. People NOT Profit. |

| 1513 | bess callard | Dear Premier McGuinty,
As a Canadian citizen living in Europe, I often have the great pleasure of speaking to people I meet about our country, and specifically about my hometown, Toronto. The immense natural beauty and raw wilderness of Canada is something I have come to realize is not only part of who I am - but part of our place in the world. Every time we take for granted the land which has imprinted the souls of every Canadian we unknowingly hurt ourselves. By putting the archaic practices of mining ahead of the current and more pressing issues of the enviornment as well as the rights of Canadian citizens, you are chipping away at our own self-image and Canada's place in the world. Is not the duty of such a great and green country to set the example around the world when it comes to taking care of our own people and land? I hope that you will also find this situation to be unacceptable and clearly unjust, and intervene on behalf of the KI-6.
Thank you for your time,
Bess Callard

| 1515 | Jan Doherty | I wholeheartedly support the actions of the KI-6 and ask that they be freed from prison.
I ask that this outrageous and out-of-date law that landed them in jail be changed immediately and that the actions of mining companies be in line with the 21st century. |

| 1517 | Rob Lindley | |
| 1518 | Pui L. Tam | |
| 1519 | Irene Cortes | This is an outrageous action of detainment. As a proud Canadian, I am appalled and saddened by the course our government has chosen and DO NOT agree that our Native Sisters and Brothers should have to endure these rampant acts of capitalism for the sake of their land and home because our version of doing things is somehow better than theirs ... this law is an infringement on their right to practice faith and MUST be ammended. |
| 1520 | Jaime Wilson | |
| 1521 | Damian Dobrowolski | This combined act by the Ontario Government and Police Force is utterly disgusting and infuriating! Has our government no moral value or sense of reality that oversees the potential for profit!!!??? This is not our land to take, regardless of it's resources, nor is it our land to ruin for the people who live on it. Both the Ontario Government and, to a lesser extent, Police Force, who I'm sure are acting as mindless pawns to do the government's immoral deeds, should be utterly ashamed of what they have done and how they continue to misrepresent our country's values. Give the 6 natives immediate freedom from incarceration and cease uranium mining at once!!! Honest citizens such as myself who value all members of our country as equal will never stop fighting for these causes, so the government must act now if they want to maintain any morcel of their reputation that they have not yet destroyed.
Sincerely,
Damian Dobrowolski |

| 1526 | Tyson Kerr | Do we really live in a province that imprisons its citizens solely because they protest the use of their land by the government? Even if you disregard the environmental issue of mining uranium (which destroys the boreal ecosystem in the area, in addition to fueling either an unstable energy source or an economy of war), this violation of the right to have your voice heard by your government (especially in opposition to that government's actions) is deplorable. |

| 1542 | Kathryn Dingle | Free entry mining has got to go! |
| 1543 | John Beaubien | As the sone of a WW2 veteren it's disgusting to see that Canada fails to inforce it's own laws (Process of Consultation with First Nations).
It seema as if they fought for a democracy that never really existed. Business before people.
