Keith Henson Case - Epitome of U.S. Free Speech? |
| 105 | Tom Padgett | Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,
Back in 2002, the State of Massachusetts refused to extradite me to Kentucky once they discovered that the Scientology organization was behind the scences
with erronenous claims and allegations. I pray that the State of California has the same courage and insight to leave Mr. Henson alone while tending to his marginal health in Arizona.
Respectfully and sincerely,
Tom Padgett

| 106 | Amber Henson | I am Keith Henson's daughter. I am doing everything I can to help my father. |
| 107 | John W. Reed | To be frank, it's an outrage that a dangerous cult like Scientology should be able to corrupt the legal system to make a mockery of the First Amendment and other provisions of the Bill of Rights. :) |
| 108 | Josh Steadmon | |
| 109 | Billy Gilbert | I read about Mr. Henson's plight in the Prescott Daily Courier. I think this is a blatant abuse of his civil rights and due process. It is a terrible shame to put Mr. Henson through this ordeal over a simple misdemeanor |

| 112 | Mark Owen Plummer | Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:
I have been very good friends with Mr. Howard Keith Henson for eleven years. I urge you to do the right thing, which is to pardon him and to set him free. A thorough review of his case will prove the conviction to have been unjust and unlawful. Mr. Henson has not committed any crime; he is innocent. I pray that you take the time to become familiar with his case, for I am certain that if you do so, you will learn that a horrible injustice has been committed. I pray for justice for H. Keith Henson. Respectfully, Mark Owen Plummer, Austin, TX |
| 113 | Caroline Letkeman | Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,
What Scientology has done to Keith Henson is a clear example of Scientology's antisocial and dangerous Suppressive Person doctrine in operation. www.suppressiveperson.org
You are permitting Scientology's white collar terrorism to operate in your state under the cover and with the extraordinary protections of "religious freedom."
The Scientology v. Keith Henson campaign in your state's courts and in Federal Courts in your state is a travesty. It only becomes more unconscionable as no one in your Government does anything to correct the injustice.
You CAN do something about it. Free Henson.
If you don't, I'll be back.
Sincerely,
Caroline Letkeman

| 116 | Paulette Cooper | The behavior of our government in this sorry matter has been disgraceful. Governor S: Don't believe Scientology's figures about how many members they have. Many more people are against them than for them so you'll get more votes by going after more worthy scenarios (e.g., crooked politicians who let donations determine their policy.) |

| 121 | Kristi Wachter | As a California taxpayer, I cannot understand why a nonviolent misdemeanant is being extradited when prisons are so overcrowded that felons are facing early release. Please do the right thing, Governor, and stop this extradition today. |
| 122 | Alan Furman | It is in your power to mitigate an appalling injustice. |
| 123 | Jay Cornell | |
| 124 | Dick Illyes | |
| 125 | Kenneth Hahn | |
| 126 | Robert Sheaffer, Lakeside CA | Keith is being persecuted because he dared to speak out about things that Scientology wants kept quiet. America supposedly has freedom of speech, so how can a religious cult jail its critics? Free Keith Henson! |
| 127 | Ankur Arora | |
| 128 | Ted Reynolds | |
| 129 | Paul Murdo | |
| 130 | John H. Costello | Please pardon Keith Henson; the 'church' of scientology is not a 'church' (except dubiously for tax purposes) but a cult and a scam that has caused untold misery among the people it has milked and spat out. |
| 131 | Terri Wagner | Shouldn't we spend our valuable jail/justice time and money on dangerous criminals? And isn't protesting covered under the first amendment anyway? |
| 132 | Martin Weiner | |
| 133 | Michael D Wolfe | how rediculous is it that a CULT can get people thrown in jail for protesting? I thought this was America, not Austria circa 1940. |
| 134 | Walt Parkman | Anyone who has seen the South Park episode about Tom Cruise in the closet would know that Scientology does not deserve the special influence it has with governments around the world. The Governor must show that he is not subject to Scientology influence. |
| 135 | Alison Curtis | If you allow this to happen, you lend your support to a travesty of justice. Stand up for Keith, and take down those in power who support Scientology, (as a practising catholic, i find the use of the word "Church" by scientologists to be extremely insulting.) Judges are supposed to be fair, and judge only on the evidence. Why wasnt someone held responsible for the death of Amy, why do you allow this man to be victimised by a cult of zealots. |
