56 Dr. Mark S. MillerThis is about an old and frivolous misdemeanor charge. Nothing about this case justifies continued attention by the state, much less extradition. Please pardon Keith Henson. Thank you.

69 Thomas StratfordI worked with Keith for 3+ years while he was in Canada, and will be more than happy to testify as a character witness for him. He is good natured, funny, and generally a good man. He doesn't deserve to be treated this way. Please allow Keith his freedom to live out the rest of his life in peace.
70 KevinI will boycott all Tom Cruise and John Travolta movies from now on...
71 Tihamer Toth-FejelI've known Keith for decades and I can say with confidence that he is a genius who has inspired thousands of people. He and I have disagreed on a number of issues; he was the first to call me a devout Catholic (which I guess I am), while claiming the title of "devout atheist", but he is a person of great character. It is his distaste for the superstitious lies of religion (like the made-up dogma of Scientology) that got him in trouble with the law. Yes, he is a bit of a gadfly, but religions and cults desperately need people like him. Please pardon Keith Henson as soon as possible.

79 AnonymousI have known Keith Henson for 30 years and have followed the facts of his case since the beginning. In my judgment, he has already suffered more than enough for the original misdemeanor of which he is accused. His subsequent efforts to avoid physical confinement were motivated by genuine fear for his life, following credible threats. There is no need to punish him further. I ask, as a humanitarian gesture, that the State of California reconsider its decision to take further action against Keith Henson. Further punishment would be unjust, against the public interest, and would provoke embarrassing controversy.
80 michael tilseDear Governor Schwarzenegger, I met you on the set of the movie "Last Action Hero". You might remember me being the elevator operator. I have talked with Howard Keith Henson and corresponded with him. I know him to be a great person who is very concerned with protesting the criminal actions of the organization known as the "Church of Scientology". I know first hand that "The Church of Scientology" commits crimes. I unfortunately was a member of that group for 27 years and during my time in it I witnessed and assisted in commiting crimes done for the benefit of the organization on the orders of the officers and executives of the organzation. So, I know that Howard Keith Henson in protesting the criminal actions of the "Church of Scientology" is quite brave. As a result of Mr. Henson using his free speech and person to protest the actions of the "Church", he was targeted by the "Church" to discredit him and destroy him. I am familiar with similar actions on the part of the "Church" from when I was in the group. In fact it is in their policy to "destroy utterly" critics of the "Church of Scientology". It is evident that the current judicial proceedings are charges manufactured and manipulated by the officers, executives and agents of the "Church of Scientology" to "destroy utterly" Howard Keith Henson. In my own case, the California Attorney General mistakenly told me he could do nothing about the "Church of Scientology" because it is protected by a state law. Yet, even genuine religious organizations such as the Catholic Church are not immune to judicial action in the case of crimes such as child abuse. Why should the crimes of fraud and obstruction of justice, abuse of the legal system and so many others on the part of the "Church of Scientology" be ignored by the Attorney General because he thinks they are immune? I implore you to to personally investigate the case of Howard Keith Henson and the judicial irregularities surrounding his trial, conviction of misdemeanor charges and the present warrant for his extradition. Please do not believe what agents for the "Church of Scientology" will feed you about this case. They lie. That too is something I witnessed repeatedly when I was in "Scientology", and was encouraged to do my self with regard to anything that might bring disfavor to the "Church". Only a real searching examination of the actual facts of the case will reveal the truth. For my part, I would ask you to do anything in your power to spare Mr. Henson further harm from the actions of these criminals operating under the guise of "religion". Thank you for your attention. Michael Leonard Tilse
81 Gerry ArmstrongDear Governor Schwarzenegger: I have known Keith Henson personally for over 10 years. It is beyond any reasonable doubt that Mr. Henson was unlawfully convicted of the charge against him that resulted in his incarceration, and that Scientology organization personnel, their attorneys and California State officials conspired to obtain that unlawful conviction. What has happened to Keith Henson, without until this date one California State official saying one word to end or even criticize this clear injustice, is a disgrace for California, and a threat to all its citizens and to anyone who might visit your great state. I refer you to a declaration I executed March 7, 2006 and submitted in an adversary proceeding the Scientologists filed in Mr. Henson's bankruptcy. http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/legal/decl-2006-03-07.html I have extensive evidence of the Scientology organization, which is headquartered in your state, using the law unlawfully to harass its victims and targets, and evidence of its personnel testifying falsely and bringing false charges against its victims and targets in your state's courts. I urge you to have the courage to look past Scientology's glib celebrities and see what Scientology really is -- among other things, a conspiracy against good people's basic rights, and specifically in the victimization of Keith Henson, a conspiracy to deprive him of his rights and physical liberty under color of law. In 1997 I fled my home in California because of threats from Scientology. That is another crime that is not in front of you for addressing at this time, but shows that Scientology's conspiracy against Mr. Henson is not an isolated case. I urge you to have someone get a sense (or yourself get a sense) of the documents I've webbed showing Scientology's unconscionable campaign to crush me over more than 25 years. http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/cult/index.html http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/legal/index.html I urge you to have someone (or yourself) examine the Henson case, and particularly study the trial transcript of his shameful Riverside County kangaroo court. And I urge you on any ground to set this good man free. Gerry Armstrong #2-46298 Yale Road Chilliwack, B.C. V2P 2P6 Canada 604-703-1373 gerry@gerryarmstrong.org

I have all kinds of lies on my records and I still write against them. I have written against Warner Music (Cher) etc. They are a fly on the humanity of peaceful and loving people.

84 Peter HenseEven though I don't agree with the threatening tone of this message, please consider this request. The cult of Scientology has already caused the false imprisonment of many people like mr Henson, every one is too many. Please help end the harmful effects of this cult on your state and your country.
85 Sean KennyI've spoken to Keith a few times online and he strikes me as a very bright, generous person. Scientology has always struck me as a very sinister phenomena.

89 Jim SellsYou must not let Scientologists dictate special treatment for themselves and their religion. They are as subject to scrutiny and mockery or even hatred as any other religion.
90 Kathe Woodsidewhy is scientology allowed to deny citizens of their constitutional rights? i thought this was America, the land of the FREE? with a right to PROTEST!

100 David H DennisDespite their celebrity connections and high profile, there is no more organization in need of the bright light of truth than Scientology. Keith Henson and people like him have gotten in trouble while trying to do exercise their free speech rights as protected by the First Amendment. Anyone who cares about the protections offered by that amendment will be appalled at what happened to Henson. Anyone with the power to pardon or commute should be told that justice would be greatly served with that action. David Dennis http://www.amazing.com/scientology is a set of web pages I created that show that the evil of this organization has lasted a good long time, and obviously continues to this day.
