Keith Ferguson is unjustly in jail and facing a 2-6 year sentence for charges for which he is innocent. The first charge is assault. His actions were entirely in self-defense. His father threatened him and pulled a knife on him. Keith hit him once in order to get away. His father was not hurt, his nose bleed but he was seen a week later and did not have a scratch on him. The charge of burglary is a trumped up charge which was a result of a fancy lawyers manipulation of legal jargon. Burglary in this case is supposedly when a person enters a building uninvited with the intention of committing a crime. This charge is completely bogus. Keith went to his parents house after his car broke down. Keith is on disability income and his mother is his payee. The only way for him to access his money was to request it from his mom. He went to his parents house simply to ask for help. Keith is a very gentle person. He is shy and sensitive and good with animals. I cannot speculate as to his fathers motivation other than the fact that he wants to control Keith and did not want Keith to become independent and move off on his own. Keith's parents would not even give him access to his own money in order for Keith to obtain legal defense and public defenders do not have the time or resources to provide a proper defense.
