The petition
Free Hugs, Freedom of Speech, and a Petition PLEASE READ Two guys at Easton today were carrying signs that said "Free Hugs". It must have been 10 minutes before an Easton Security Officer came up to one of the guys. They talked for about two minutes and the security guard walked away and the guy folded his sign up. Then, once the guard was gone, the guy just kind of unfolded his sign again and gave out some more of said free hugs. Then my friend Austin and I went up to the guy and we said, "Yeah man, that's what Iâ??m talking' about, fight the power.â?? So while we were talking to this guy, the Security guard came up to us. Then he said, "Alright, I saw you open your sign back up and Iâ??m gonna ask you to leave the property right now." He then threatened to take him to jail if he didnâ??t leave. The guy told the officer that, that was fine but he wasn't leaving without his friend but he forced him to, and Austin and me went and got his friend and brought him to where he was.
So, as of this moment, Austin and I are making a petition and we're gonna go to Easton and have people sign it. We'd appreciate it if you came to Easton and signed the petition with us and helped us fight back for our right to exercise our freedom of speech.
