| 201 | Adei A | Freehand is a good tool to let it die. It's easy and useful and doesn't need big amounts of ram. the only thing it lacks of it's the non support of unicode languages.
Freehand forever |
| 202 | John | Freehand is the best vector drawing tools! |
| 203 | Ralph Learmont | FreeHand is the best... The smartest and most fluent program I have ever used. |
| 204 | Fernando | |
| 205 | ART | FREEHAND IS THE BEST AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST. ILLUSTRATOR HAS GOT A LONG WAYS TO GO BEFORE IT WILL CATCH UP, IF EVER. I WILL USE FREHAND TILL THE DAY I DIE. |
| 206 | Bill Ware | I've "migrated" to Illustrator, but, for a native FreeHand user, it's not a parallel universe. InDesign helps soften the blow, but FreeHand has it all in one app. |
| 207 | Gudrun Anna Magnusdottir | Please Adobe continue to suport and develop Freehand. It is my favorite application and i have used it for a long time. |
| 208 | Stefan Kraft | Freehand still has features that Illustrator does not have. Also there is still no proper solution to opening Freehand files. A new version of Freehand would definitely bring in new sales. Illustrator just doesn't have the same features. |

| 210 | Kerry Duncan | Freehand user since version2
I'm too old to change |
| 211 | Chris Aston | Illustrator is an inferior programme, and not as versatile as Freehand.
I will stop buying Adobe software from now on. |
| 212 | KVman | Dear Adumb don't be so Lazy.
put FreeHand code to work in new OS. |
| 213 | John | |
| 214 | Boyan Drenec | i am very attached to this clever software.
I wish to see its workflow logic maintained and/or developped.
At the very least there should be a switching program with interesting prices for those who cannot longer use FH on their computers (Intel + Leopard ?) |
| 215 | Bernie Sherman | Adobe must be joking if they think I'm going to use Illustrator, FreeHand is by far the best Drawing program on the market, so simple but so powerfull, Illustrator with it's one pathetic page & confusing Interface doesen't even compare. Upgrade it Adobe |
| 216 | Federico Reinoso | |
| 217 | Craig Calsbeek | |
| 218 | Heye Janssen | As a FreeHand owner since version 0.93, I feel so disappointed and helpless now. |
| 219 | Jimmy Sin | |
| 220 | Glen Herbel | Please sell FH to Apple or some other company that will continue the greatness! |
| 221 | George Troy | Save Freehand |
| 222 | Jane McGowan | Don't do it Adobe!! Well not until you are able to set spot colour files up!! |
| 223 | Bjarni Baldvinsson | Freehand and Fireworks must not die! |
| 224 | Dan Gilmore | If Adobe was at all honest, they would ackowledge that Freehand offers real value that their products don't match. Instead they want to slowly strangle the step-child, to keep it from showing up their flawed offspring. Sell the software to someone! |
| 225 | Anonymous | Freehand forever and ever |
| 226 | Designo | Thanks Adobe, when I heard that you will abandon Freehand, I sold all my Adobe shares and bought myself a substantial yacht which I will retire on... |

| 229 | Anonymous | FreeHand is the best!
Please don't let it disappear! |
| 230 | Daniel Montes | it should notttt |
| 231 | Cecil S. | I migrated from traditional non-computerized methods for my work to computers a long time ago. It was an easy transition for me. I enjoyed the new flexibility with the new tools. Howver, Illustrator hasn't given me this satisfaction. Sure there are nice and powerful new tools, but the experience is very clumsy. I loose money everyday FORCING myself to use Illustrator over Freehand. It's not the same. I think every professional Freehand user would pay twice the price of Illustrator to keep Freehand alive. Come on Adobe. Update Freehand and charge for it. Make it the modern app it deserves to be. |
| 232 | Jesse Dunn | Sorry Adobe but FreeHand is superior in many ways that Illustrator cannot fulfill. I can't and will not make the switch to Illustrator. For many years I have been comparing the two programs and FreeHand comes out the strongest and smartest over the inferior feel of Illustrator. I make my living using FreeHand 100% of the time. You must allow FreeHand to continue, if not with you, then elsewhere! |
| 233 | James Wolfe | |
| 234 | Matt Baker | LONG LIVE FREEHAND!1
You can't REPLACE Freehand with Illustrator, f*$k that! |
| 235 | Anonymous | I've used Freehand and Illustrator for about 15 years -- much prefer Freehand! I could go on for hours telling you why -- there are lots of reasons which anyone who has used both can tell you. |

| 237 | Andre Bazinet | |
| 238 | Graham J Neish | I have uses Freehand for years, it by far superior to Illustrator for intuitive drawing throught to full brochure layout. It is sad to see such a great program abandoned by Adobe and I hope they see the potential of saving Freehand. |
| 239 | ken olling | |
| 240 | Craig Cooper | I was introduced to macs via fH2 over 16 years ago. It was a revalation and has been the mainstay of the devlopment of a lot of my graphic ideas and designs. Although the move to illustrator wouldn't kill me. My output would decline and possibly the quality of work would suffer on tighter deadlines for quite some time.
It will be a real shame to see it dissappear. |
| 241 | Louis LeBlanc | Let us continuting to love vectoriel design |
| 242 | Yvon Massicotte | Why buy a software to have it discontinued? This seems to be a patently unfair commercial pratice. The authorities involved in anti-monopolistic laws should investigate that decision by Adobe |
| 243 | Daniel Rodrigue | |
| 244 | Anonymous | Don't go Freehand! Illustrator must die! |
