3 André HeersPlease, Adobe be fair! Software is not only something that you earn money with, it’s also a piece of digital culture! Don’t leave FreeHand to extinction! If you think it’s of no valuare for you then please give it away to another company to develope it further!

10 Jaab WoodI'm totaly frustrated about this bad news. Adobe behaves like a bull in a china shop! They buy always goud software concepts an let them die after a while - that's an other way of market adjustment. Here is the list iof death: PageMaker, FrameMaker, and now FreeHand. But the whorst thing at all is that didn't offer better options. They always sell overpriced updates with useless functions. My appeal - always look on alternatives to all the expensive Adobe Software. Remember ,offer and demand determine the market! Kind regards, Jaab Wood

28 kabaBillions of Users are working with FreeHand. I'm working with it since 14 years. Adobe has to recognize that they do a bad job like Quark a few years ago because they think they are the only in the market. May be soon there will appear a competitor with a Freehand-like program. I hope so! But better it would be that Adobe will give us Freehand again! Better for us - better for Adobe. Excuse my bad English ;o)

33 Marcoupdate Freehand!
34 Frank DolleHow can you let die FreeHand without having implemented any of the major advantages of it into your concurrent product Illustrator? With FreeHand you own a major tool for graphical workers. This means you bear a great responsibility for this tool!

37 Frank BornThis is unbelievable - our Workflow relies partially on Freehand and Illustrator is no replacement. We'll look into usage of Adobe software in our Graphic department. Welcome back, Quark.

43 Matthias BrauckmannI am really shocked by Adobe's decision, but in the same way I am feeling very angry about this prove of ignorance and arrogance. I am not willing to buy any further software (even no upgrades) of a company acting this way.
