Comments: Institutional models are outmoded, anyway, and much more costly than higher quality community supports. I have published several studies showing this to be true, and there are dozens of others in the literature. New Jersey should move away from incarcerating people with intellectual disabilities.

Comments: I fear all the time what will happen to our mentally handicapped/autistic son when my husband and I are no longer able to take care of him....maybe this first step in freeing Frankie will help my son have a better solution when the time comes for him to be placed somewhere when being at home is no longer an option.
