we got the news today that his sentence is being reduced and he will be home soon. honestly im still in shock but i cant thank you enough for sticking with this when everyone else said it was a long shot.

wild to see how many people realize this sentencing just doesnt sit right. feeling pretty overwhelmed by the response and knowing there are so many others out there who agree that this is way too harsh.

Poor kid. He made a stupid mistake but that sentence is way too harsh compared to what other people get for actual crimes.
30 character references speak for themselves. He isnt a hardened criminal. he took responsibility and deserves a break.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Politicians are just making an example out of him. Justice is dead.
32 months is a joke. the system is just trying to scare people from protesting. let the kid go home.
He handed himself in and showed real remorse. Locking him up for years is just spiteful. Free him now.
