Comments: While I don't know Drama or Cannon personally, I know that we have lost our mind in this society, any time we knock a cat's hustle over doing something that isn't bootlegging, especially when it has become one of the sole means of artist obtaining recognition prior to solidifying record deals. SO WHAT they have made mix CDs--do you know how many people will have to be captured in order to stop this...and internationally, it has also become well known, so there is no way. There is NO harm in anyone eating off of a genre that they're helping to keep alive--believe that artist get their just due one way or another from these Mixtape DJs, who make sure that all of their new joints are given to the public. This medium has also been good for artists that have been sitting on the shelf of a label for so long. Bootlegging is when they're sitting there copying CDs one by one all original content, not when they're getting exclusive from these artists that are grateful to the DJ for getting their joints out to the world without them having to actually promote the songs themselves--free promotion for the artist a lot of time. Arrest the real criminals who have tainted our society, arrest the real industry thieves and pimps. Arrest the child molester...arrange a sting to find out why Philadelphia has been called Killadelphia ending 2006 with a staggering number of murders, find out WHY people in New Orleans are without suitable housing a yr and some change later, but wasting loot on something like this is ABSURD, and just shows that any minority cat or anything affiliated with Hip-Hop is a target--their whole objective is for us to not live honestly, and portray us in a very stereotypical manner--that is THEIR job. Hip-Hop is an HONEST means for these dudes to eat...but THEY always want to make it to appear as distorted and evil. FREE THESE DUDES, MANE and focus on the ills of society that are causing cats to live on the streets...causing cats to go hungry, causing cats to lose their lives to some punks, but this...man, this confirms how twisted society is...we have it all backwards...and people need to step up who have benefitted personally from these dudes...artist need to step up and show support and show how Mix CDs have helped them...if it were a problem to them then they wouldn't host a lot of the Mix CDs...if they felt that it was taking food from their mouths... God Bless!
