To many freedoms are taken from us all the time. But why should any one tell us we can't own non-dangerous animals like chickens in village limits. So long as they are properly cared for & kept clean. My family has 5 pet chickens in New Paris, Ohio. Now the "sanitation officers has started conflict over this. I do know if animals aren't properly cared for they will smell & or evn be unhealthy. But we take extremely good care of them at all times. Please think beyond me or my family what if it were your family someone was telling you that you couldn't keep your pets you've raised since babies?
