    Comments: First and Foremost, on behalf of the ENTIRE Lopez family, we would like to thank each and every one of you, for your on going support. My bother is innocent, we know this based on the actual facts we have been able to attain. Through our darkest hours we have been blessed with many angels to guide my brother and us through this horrific ordeal. Immediately after the trial, Joe filed a motion for mistrial based on jury misconduct. I dated one of the jurors and they did nothing. This same juror’s husband personally knew my brother, Joe. Another juror claimed they could not hear, another claimed that she/he made their mind up on Thursday morning when they awoke that my brother was guilty. Thursday morning was the first day the defense began cross examining. Another juror was seen watching the news during their lunch break… The list goes on and on. For the record- rape kit test was NEGATIVE- when the State preformed a test they perform on garments of ALL rape cases (infamous short) this too came back NEGATIVE. The DA had them go back and basically EXTRACT everything from that garment. My brother, was not given a fair trail, the jury was tainted since the get go and everyone knew it. Our silence and Joe’s silence is over, we will speak the truth until Joe Lopez receives a new fair trail. Lorenzo López

    Comments: It is so sad to find out that the system failed Mr. Lopez. You hear stories about inmates who have served 15-20 years and then after further investigation the person was indeed innocent. Why does it have to be that a person(S) lifes have to be destroyed by the one's that are suppose to give one justice and allow one to have a fair trial I am convinced that people are correct in making a statement that our Judicial System is CORRUPT! After hearing about Joe's case and trial, it sickens me to know that Joe was convicted and left for dead. I want justice now! I am a taxing paying citizen and demand justice for Joe Lopez.
