A number of Palestinian political prisoners continue their open hunger strike in Israeli jails. This includes two Palestinian prisoners, Ayman Al Sharawna and Samir al Essawi whose lives are at risk. Both of the political detainees are on a hunger strike since long time ago in protest of Israeli violation of the Shalit prisoner swap. Ayman and Samir were kidnapped and forcibly transferred to Israeli for no reason.

At this stage, the Israeli Prison Service are exerting tremendous pressure on them to end their hunger strike. It also attempts to bargain their freedoms by opting them between remaining in jail to continue their previous sentences (the sentences were removed as they were released in the Shalit prisoner swap) or leaving for exile.

Since their recent capturing, Israeli Occupation Forces did not convict or investigate them. Ayman Al Sharawna, 38, is a resident of Dora in Herbon city. He began his open hunger strike on the 1st of July 2012. He already suffers from various health complications including weakness in his immune system as well as problems in his kidney which partially functions with 20% only. He lost eyesight in his right eye.

He also suffers from various problems in his left leg. Meanwhile, Samir al Essawi, 33, a resident of Jerusalem started his hunger strike on the 1st of august 2012, since then he suffered from fainting and severe fatigue. He is unable to stand or walk properly in addition to excessive weight loss. Al Essawi was admitted to Asaf Hrovi hospital few times due to many health complications.

Based on the above facts, and the suffering of Palestinian prisoners and the inhuman treatment in Israeli jails; we the undersigned, express our full support and solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners and call for the following:

1- An immediate release of Palestinian prisoners who are on a hunger strike as their arrest is illegal as it’s the case with thousands of Palestinian prisoners.

2- We call on Egyptian President, Mohammad Morsi, to personally interfere to release those prisoners as they were released within the Shalit swap which was done by Egyptian mediation, yet Israel broke it.

3- We call upon Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and the International Red cross to promptly and immediately interfere to save the lives Ayman and Samir. We call on them to expose Israeli flagrant violations, torture and inhuman treatment against Palestinian prisoners.

4- We request the United Nations Human Rights Council to put pressure on the Israeli authorities to release both prisoners in addition to sending an International commission to investigate torture practiced against Palestinian prisoners.

5- We ask the European parliament to stand by Human Justice by pressuring Israel to release Ayman and Samir.

6- We call upon the inter-parliamentary union to put a pressure over parliaments in the world so Israeli violations stop immediately

أنقذوا أيمن وسامر

حملة دولية بعنوان " أنا مع العدالة.. وأدعم أسرى فلسطين"

يواصل عدد من الأسرى الفلسطينيين الإضرابالمفتوح عن الطعام في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ومنهم الأسيران أيمن الشراونه و سامر عيساوي، اللذان تتعرض حياتهما للخطر الشديد.

ويخوض الأسيران أيمن الشراونة وسامر عيساوي الإضراب المفتوح عن الطعام احتجاجًا على مخالفة بنود صفقة التبادل مع الجندي الإسرائيلي" شاليط"، وإعادة اعتقالهما دون أي مبرر.

وتمارس سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الأسيرين ضغوطا كبيرة لكسر إضرابهما عن الطعام، كما تساومهما على الإبعاد أو البقاء في السجن لقضاء ما تبقى من فترة محكوميتهما السابقة؛ التي حصلوا على عفو عام عنها بموجب صفقة التبادل. ومن الجدير ذكره؛ أن سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وحتى اللحظة لم توجه لهما أي تهم محددة أو لائحة اتهام ولم يجر التحقيق معهما.

الأسير أيمن إسماعيل الشراونة (38 عاما) من سكان دورا قضاء الخليل يخوض إضرابه المفتوح عن الطعام منذ 1/7/2012، وهو مريض يعاني من ضعف في المناعة، كما يعاني من مشاكل في الكلى التي انخفض معدل عملها إلى نسبة 20% مما زاد تأثير الإضراب عليه، وجعله أكثر خطورة، حيث فقد الرؤية بالعين اليمنى، وانعدم إحساسه في قدمه اليسرى بسبب الإضراب.

الأسير سامر طارق عيساوي (33 عاما) من سكان القدس، يخوض إضرابه المفتوح عن الطعام منذ 1/8/2012، أصيب بحالات إغماء وإرهاق شديد، إضافة لآلام في كافة أنحاء جسمه، وإصابات في مناطق مختلفة من جسده نتيجة تعرضه للسقوط المتكرر أرضاً إثر فقدانه للتوازن وعدم قدرته على الوقوف على قدميه، كما فقد من وزنه الكثير، ونقل أكثر من مرة الى مستشفى "أساف هروفيه" نتيجة تردي وضعه الصحي.

ولذلك دعماً وتضامناً مع الأسرى الفلسطينيين المضربين عن الطعام في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ورفعاً للظلم عنهم وعن ذويهم، وتحقيقاً للعدالة الإنسانية.

فإننا نحن الموقعون على هذه العريضة، إذ نعلن تضامننا مع الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام في سجون الإحتلال الإسرائيلي و نؤازرهم وذويهم، ونطالب بما يلي :

1. الإفراج الفوري عن الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، لعدم قانونية اعتقالهم والاستمرار فيه .

2. نطالب فخامة رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية الدكتور محمد مرسي بالتدخل شخصياً للإفراج عن الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام، لاسيما من تم إعادة اعتقالهم بعد الإفراج عنهم بموجب صفقة " شاليط".

3. نطالب كلاً من مؤسسة أطباء بلا حدود والصليب الأحمر الدولي بزيارة الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام، والتدخل من إجل إنقاذ حياة هؤلاء الأسرى، وفضح ما يتعرض له الأسرى المضربون من انتهاك للمواثيق الدولية من قبل سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.

4. نطالب مجلس حقوق الأنسان بالتدخل والضغط على سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للإفراج عن الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام. وإرسال لجنة أممية لتوثيق الانتهاكات التي يتعرض لها الأسرى في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.

5. نطالب البرلمان الأوروبي بالوقوف مع العدالة الإنسانية، والضغط على سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للإفراج عن الأسرى المضربين عن الطعام فوراً.

6. نطالب الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي، بالتدخل العاجل لإنقاذ الأسرى الفلسطينيين المضربين عن الطعام، وإرسال وفد برلماني دولي للإطلاع على الإنتهاكات التي يتعرض لها الأسرى الفلسطينيين في سجون الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
