Comments: I was incarcerated with djinn at Cornell abraxas youth center. I was released on good behavior after nine months and spent much time around him. There is nothing wrong with this young man, and his continued incarceration is absolutley unnecessary. He is a normal child with a huge heart for his family and freinds. god bless.

Comments: I wish to add my name to the thousands of people who are requesting mercy and a full pardon for Djinn Buckingham. Natural justice cries to God Himself that Djinn should be treated as the child he was when his alleged confession placed him in prison for a crime he clearly did not confess to. It is inconceivable that a civilised and Christian country such as the United States of America should treat its children in this way. At the very least the case needs to be reopened and Djinn should be tried again when all the evidence can be considered. In all sincerity, I ask you how you can sleep at night.

Comments: No child should be treated this way. Evidence-based research explains adolescents do not have the brain development that an adult has. This is an injustice. How we as a society, are treating our children is barbaric. We beg of you to utilize your power in an intelligent and mindful way to help, not hurt.

Comments: It is clear that this child was tormented into making a false confession. I urge you to listen to "the better angels of [your] nature" and free.him! That's the courageous thing to do and I know you want to do the courageous thing.

Comments: US Justice is inhumane and OUT of time ! especially when it comes to juveniles . You turn the land of the free that could be a paradise in the land of the incarcarated in hellish prisons . You should learn from European Democracies how to treat children .

Comments: Due to the stupidity of the government, the government officials are the ones who are creating nothing but problems! We as people KNOW any government official would do ANYTHING to make HIM/HER look good for the Law. We ALL know that JUNK SCIENCE is entered into the courtroom, police are coercioning people into FALSE Confessions. Bottom Line is Government needs to quite with there stupidity and let him go.

Comments: Our society has gone insane when they started the policy of sentencing youth offenders as adults for the crimes they committed be they have true or fabricated .Are the judges not paying attention when laws are passed down from the Supreme Court Justice verifying and stating that the juvenile court system is made up and can handle ALL juvenile crimes committed no matter how hienious. It is a very sad day in america when children are treated worse than adults and not afforded the rehabilitation they deserve. Good Luck Djinn you remain in my prayers. Dana Hoffman
