| 206 | claire | With the prisons being so overcrowded, i think its ridiculous that they'd jail a graffiti artist. They should be keeping what space they have for murderers, paedo's, thugs etc. Whats wrong with community service where he could put his artwork to use with youngsters?

| 207 | Anonymous | I understand that people have different perceptions of the the cultural significance of graffiti, however, regardless of this the criminal justice system should not be allowed to make scapegoats of one individual, who is basically being used to further political careers. This sentence is not proportionate to the offence and more positive and cheaper alternatives could of been found to deal with these series of offences. The sentence does nothign but alienate young people from system which they already see as irrational and out of touch. |
