On December 30, Mr. Ali Saremi, a 62-year-old political prisoner, warned of Iranian regime's plan for another massacre of political prisoners. Mr. Saremi has spent 23 years of his life in prisons during the rule of Shah and mullahs in Iran. He was last arrested in summer 2007 for speaking at a memorial service held on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of massacre of political prisoners in Iran. On Tuesday, December 29, the clerical regime informed Mr. Saremi that he had been sentenced to death, without any judicial process. We as the signatories of the statement demand the death penalty cancellation and unconditionally Freedom of Mr Ali saremi. We want from the international organization to take practical steps to end the crimes of regime against political prisoners in Iran. ما امضا کنندگان این بیانیه خواستار لغو حکم اعدام و آزادی بدون قید و شرط آقای صارمی هستیم. همچنین از کمیسر عالی حقوق بشر سازمان ملل، کمسیون حقوق بشر اتحادیه اروپا ، سازمان عفو بین الملل و سازمان دیدبان حقوق بشر و سایر مراجع بین المللی خواهان اتخاذ اقدامات عملی برای پایان دادن به جنایتهای رژیم علیه زندانیان سیاسی در ایران می باشیم.
