Name: Johnny Mao on Mar 8, 2011Comments: To the officials of the Zimbabwean government: We in the United States are aware of today's release of 38 out of the 45 activists jailed more than 2 weeks ago for the "crime" of gathering to hold a peaceful discussion and watch TV. While we are glad to hear of the release of our brothers and sisters in Harare, we will not cease our complaints and protests until we hear of the release of ALL remaining activists who have been jailed. It is an outrage that your government would even consider using the tactics of undemocratic regimes by creating political prisoners out of peaceful trade unionists, students and other activists. Release Munyaradzi Gwisai and friends now!Flag

Name: Steve Leigh on Mar 8, 2011Comments: Threatened with treason charges and tortured for discussing the revolution in Egypt?!!! The revolution in Egypt has inspired people around the world! If every government applied Zimbabwe's standard , thousands , millions and even billions would have to be charged with treason! It is time that the governments of the world respected the rights of the people. Freedom of speech , press and assembly are not optional extras but the essence of democracy. Free the six still charged now!!Flag
