Name: Michael Sherkin on Feb 2, 2007Comments: I was at the event and was present during the whole situation. I did not see the acualy taking of the card since I was playing in the pc but everything I heard about it during that day supports calvins explination. As a level two yugioh judge I have judge many events in which calvin has participated and never once witness anything illegal.Flag

Name: Ray on Feb 2, 2007Comments: Lift the suspension please. From what I read. Calvin seems like a good person. He made a bad moral judgement call out of sheer humor. Not to hurt, punish, danger anyone. It was a harmless joke in his eyes, and most people's eyes i'm sure. Give him a break... Thanks!Flag

I play at the same locals as Jason Grabher-Meyer and I sent out this petition to a bunch of people, as well as sigging it on TCGPlayer (I do not have the power to sig stuff on Pojo yet.) www.tcgplayerforums.comFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 3, 2007Comments: You know, I'm not signing this to free him, merely to say that everyone deserves their time they get. 2 years is nothing compared to some other players who have gotten banned. Not that UDE/Konami would even listen to a little petition. Not unless you got every or almost every duelist to sign this thing they wouldn't listen. Just letting y'all know.Flag

Name: L. Dell'Anno on Feb 5, 2007Comments: Calvin really is a great guy. I met him less than a year ago when I went to my first regionals. It was very intimidating walking into the room full of guys everywhere. As the only girl entered into the tournament, I felt very uncomfortable. Calvin was a judge there that day. He was very helpful, friendly, and made me feel welcome. Every time I saw him, he was all smiles, and it seemed as though everyone knew him. Not only was he fun, but by the end of the day I considered him a friend. I know many other new players found him helpful as well. He has expirence and knows his cards better than I ever will. Calvin is very humorous, and means no harm by his jokes. A suspension such as this for him is very harsh. Please allow him to be given another chance. Considering his honesty, and his past history, he deserves to be welcome again. I'm sure by now he's learned his lesson and shall never joke in that manner again. At the very least, please shorten his suspension so he can once again indulge in his passion for Dueling. With this said, I hope to see Calvin at an event soon. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, L. Dell'AnnoFlag
