College Childcare students should be given free vaccinations and flu jabs! We work with children on a daily basis for several days/weeks (dependant on course. This could be every day for a year) and we are not given anything to prevent us from getting sick with whatever the children we come into contact may have. From my own experience of being ill for 8 weeks straight and knowing several others who have been seriously ill due to Childcare placements I think there should be something done to prevent us getting so ill! The fact we are with children that carry god knows what and that we could just catch it so easily and become seriously ill in my opinion is terrible! We need to make a stand! So if you are a Childcare student or simply agree with what I have said please sign this! And maybe if there are enough signatures something may be done to prevent so many youngsters like myself that are trying to gain qualifications to gt a job from getting ill. Thank you for reading!
