Free Upgrade to Pro Tools 11 Denied

We the class of ATP1011PT, who attended the courses given at the SAE Institute of Technology in New York City, do hereby petition SAE to change our Pro Tools 10 licenses from 'Avid Pro Tools 10 for Institutions' to 'AVID Pro Tools Student Version'. It has come to our attention that AVID is offering free upgrades for 4 years to anyone with the 'Student' version of Pro Tools. Anyone with the 'Institutional' version of Pro Tools is ineligible for the upgrades. Because of this mix-up, students with the 'Institutional' version will have to pay out of pocket for their upgrades, a dilemma that could have been averted had we received the proper Pro Tools license. We demand that SAE remedy the situation by working with AVID to supply us, the students, with the proper 'Student' license.
