Please let us to get these dogs back to their rightful owners! In a small town called Breckenridge, TX, 14 dogs were taken away from their home without cause. These dogs had a loving family who took good care of them, followed all regulations and rules concerning pets, and once worked closely with the Stephens County Animal Shelter. A group of corrupt individuals who are running this small town are determined to keep these dogs away from their family. The shelter has even denied medical treatment to one of the dogs who NEEDS to take medicine every day. Lawyers have been contacted, as well as the U.S. Humane Society, and everyone is working their hardest to get these furbabies back. The family has not even been allowed to see their dogs in over 2 weeks. They are distraught over this situation and have been working furiously to get them back. The children are anxious to see their pets. The family was originally told they could have all their pets back for $500. When they arrived the next day to pick them up with the funds, they were told it would cost $1,300, and they would only be allowed to have the 4 ill dogs and 'the mutt." If they do not come up with this money by 5:00 today, all of their pets will be put up for adoption. These animals have a loving home they were very happy at! Please petition with us against the Stephens County Animal Shelter to get these dogs back to their rightful, loving owners. Getting these dogs back to their home will help the other animals in the shelter find their own loving homes, and not in line with 14 other dogs fighting for their lives and hoping to find a new furever home.
