We, the undersigned people, ask The Microsoft Skype Division to provide us an opportunity to choose which flag is displayed when people place calls to Belarus using Skype. This appeal is based on the following:

There are two flags associated with the Republic of Belarus (images are enclosed). The first is the historical white-red-white flag, which has been flown since the 14th century. The second is the red-green flag, which was accepted in 1994 and is flown here now.

The white-red-white flag is the symbol of Freedom for the patriots of Belarus, while the red-green flag (which is used now officially) is simply a modified flag of the USSR.

As we know, Linux’s users have the ability to choose between these two flags (the screenshot is enclosed). At the same time, people who use Windows are deprived of such a choice. We consider this to be unfair and ask you to make changes to the program’s interface.
