Come go away with Me for a while. The world, with it's nonstop demands, can be put on hold. Most people put Me on hold, rationalizing that someday they will find time to focus on Me. But the longer people push Me into the background of their lives, the harder it is for them to find Me. You live among people who glorify busyness; they have made time a tyrant that controls their lives. Even those who know Me as Savior tend to march to the tempo of the world. They have bought into the illusion that more is always better: more meetings, more programs, more activity. I have called you to follow Me on a solitary path, making time alone with Me your highest priority and deepest Joy. It is a pathway largely unappreciated and often despised. However, you have chosen the better thing, which WILL NEVER BE TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU. More-over, as you walk close to Me, I can bless others through you. This devotional gives me a sense of peace as I can directly relate. Today I will begin a long walk in the forest with Him. I look forward to the lessons the He has in store for me and I will embrace them all as I know they are to prepare me for what His plan for the future is. For those of you I have hurt......Please forgive me. For those of you who have loved and supported me.....Thank you. For those of you who doubt......Just wait. For those of you who don't believe......Please open your eyes. I pray that something wonderful comes out of this quagmire. I am so sorry, I compremised my integrity in such a way. I will truly do all I can to make things right in the future. Please continue to pray for my family as they are in severe pain right now. I will pray that His will be done throughout this ordeal.
