For our GCSE Citizenship course, we have to design a campaign to make people in our local community aware of political prisoners. During our research we found a particular political prisoner- Ramze Shihab Ahmed, who is currently being held in Iraq. He is 71 years old, and has been repeatedly tortured since he's been in prison, and was placed in prison after an unfair trial. There is little evidence against him, but they do have a signed confession from him that he says he was forced to sign whilst being tortured. There is another campaign that ours will hopefully contribute to, on Amnesty Internationals website.
