The Maltese courts did not even ask the child how he felt about visiting his father...the separation took nearly 13 years!!! Now the mother is in prison as she did not force her 17 year old son to visit his father. The child did not want to go and was never consulted.
The father took the issue back to court and got the mother jailed. The child is now motherless, and does not want to be with his father. Who is being punished???? The mother or the child? This is abuse! not only by the father but by the legal system.
