In December 2003 Babar was arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 (click here for details of Terrorism Act 2000)
I wanted to share a story of the prosecution of Babar Ahmad. Babar was a civilised brother like mine and yours, the torture and the humility he was subjected to by the racially prejudiced, xenophobic police officers under the presumed allegations of glorification of terror has left him suffering, psychologically and physically in a tiny cell of 8 by 6 cell in Woodhill, with literally 3 inches to walk! This is our Muslim brother! He hasn’t done anything; he was arrested for the possession of ‘potential terror material’ on the day he got married! What nonsense!
So sisters are we going to sit back and let the Blair and Bush administration let mine and your brothers be humiliated? Remember the Prophet SAW says:
‘We are all responsible and we shall all be reckoned according to our responsibilities’
this is just one case of thousands, lets not let the figure rise lets get our brothers AND sisters from Guantanomo bay and Woodhill and Belmarsh!

...The officers then marched him to the police van outside whilst stamping on his bare feet with their boots. His ordeal continued in the police van on the way to Charing Cross Police Station. Two officers were in the back of the van with him. He was strangled once and then a second time with a much tighter grip. He thought he was going to die and the officer said to him "You are going to remember this day for the rest of your f****** life, do you understand me you f****** bastard?" ...
